The adframe™ fabric tension advertising system is the only New Zealand made fabric tension display system. Each adframe™ fabric tension advertising system display incorporates a dye-sublimated Silicone Edge Graphic (SEG) stretched to fit a locally designed and patented lightweight aluminium frame.
Driven by an international trend, the use of textiles within the advertising and commercial interiors industries has gained momentum over the last few years with textile now being the preferred substrate of choice. This is largely due to the fact that textiles are more tactile and have a non-reflective surface finish compared to traditional materials. Add to this the large variety of fabric textures and weaves available today and you are surely spoilt for choice.
However, printing and handling textiles are not something that is mainstream and for this reason, our vertically integrated delivery model with in-house fabric specialist printing and finishing means you have access to the best product and manufacturing service available in the market today.
The popularity of the adframe™ fabric tension advertising system has largely been driven by the fact that you are able to order on-demand and to specification no matter the physical size, shape, or the specifics of the imagery you would like produced. As a grand format delivery, the span of the textile substrate can be printed to a maximum print width of 3200mm x 50 000mm long with no seam. For larger executions, we are able to use a near-invisible seam to manufacture and deliver oversized designs.
Another advantage that has seen it go from strength to strength within the retail sector is that the no-tool graphic changeout system lends itself for easy changeout within seconds along with the fabrics being able to be shipped folded in a courier bag without the fear of creasing or damage.
The commercial feasibility of utilising the adframe™ fabric tension advertising system delivers an unparalleled return on investment as you pay once for the custom-built hardware and its installation; thereafter you or your staff can easily change out the economical Silicone Edge Graphics (SEG) for each execution or as required.
The dye-sublimation process is an eco-friendly process that uses no hard solvents, in contrast, it uses water-based organic inks with a vegetable/soy base ensuring there are no harmful chemicals being washed into our waterways. With a range of fabrics available, the most popular has seen our spandex blend being the favoured choice. Many that adopt the adframe™ fabric tension advertising system deliver regular change-outs nationally and across international waters which is where the spandex blend offers the most robust, economical, and user-friendly option.
The core range of the adframe™ fabric tension advertising system aluminium profiles has been designed and extruded locally ensuring we stay true to our NZMADE delivery stance. With aluminium being the most recyclable metal available today, our system offers our customers a more sustainable option than traditional materials. We also have a range of composite profiles that have been developed for specialist applications where aluminium if not suited.
As with our entire product range, our customers have the option to engage our services at the end of life to ensure materials are repurposed, recycled or disposed of responsibly.
The adframe™ fabric tension advertising systems functionally outperforms any other comparable system available in the market today whilst offering unmatched customization and image colour reproduction to deliver the designed aesthetic. This paired with the environmentally-conscious materials selection and sustainability stance of the OneFrame brand makes us the ideal execution partner for your next project.

It uses water-based dyes, which means that no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) are produced like you would get from solvent-based inks and so there are no nasty vapours escaping into the atmosphere. In addition, there is no waste making its way into our waterways as there is no water used in the printing process thus also saving water under dye-sublimation printing.
